How late has anyone tested negative on a hpt only to find out you actually were pregnant later?

Hi All!! My LMP was on 5/17. My cycle is like clockwork every 28 days. Ovulation can vary in my cycle though. I've only missed my period twice in my entire life (been dealing with ol gal for 22 years). The first time I was pregnant, and this is the second. I've taken 5 hpts (used First Response and EPT) and all negative. I don't know if I'm testing too early but I seem to have all of the symptoms...periodic, dull, lower back ache (no cramping), firm and tender breasts, some waves of nausea (very little and no vomiting) and very very faint brown spotting for a few days (around the time my p should have been ending). I had an appt with my doctor for 7/18 just for a reg check up. She told me to just keep the date and journal my testing until I get a positive or come on my p. Just frustrated and need to know if anyone has shared this experience and still been pregnant? Just wondering how late anyone has tested negative on a hpt and still been pregnant?

very similar things have been happening to me..for about 2 months now i been having sore breast and my stomachs been bloated, urgent and more frequent urination, im dizzy and light headed alot often. ive been to the dr aleast four times in 2 months all test negative..ive also been getting my periods on off days all 4 days long and light, my periods usaully 7 days long heavy nd painfull as shyt. ive even been having mood swings, im ok with being pregnant and ok if im not. i jus cant figure out why im still feeling like this if im not pregnant..ughh this whole thing is freaking me out and everyones saying its in my head,its pms or ovulating symtoms but this is all new to my body..im also a heavy smoker so this worries me if i am. ive also tested neg for stds and infections any advance im like stuck if nothings wrong whats going on?

I am late now for about 10 days. I went to the ER for a migraine a week ago.  I told them I was pregnant because I had taken a home pregnancy test (88 cent one) and it had a very faint line which indicated a positive result.  So they did blood work to make sure I was/wasn't pregnant and the blood work came back negative.  I am having major cravings, I've only been nauseated a few times, I seem to be getting more car sick when my fiance' drives, and really irritable.  I know these can be signs of a period..but i've never been this late when I wasn't on the pill.  Needless to say I went off the pill 12/10/13.  Any comments?

well i tested and once again neg. i am contacting my ob/gyn tomorrow and see what she suggests i do... i swear its not me losing my mind!

I tested early, and the night before my BFP I got a BFN on a digital, my blood hormones just weren't what they should be.

This time I"m on CD30-31 (didn't track exactly) and if it's still not here thursday I'm buying a digital test.
I have had:

Bloating,
Sore boobs,
Extreme tiredness,
and extra CM

thanks so much. i think i will stop and buy 1 more test to just see what it may say..if neg. then i plan on calling dr and getting an appt for a blood test to be done or even an ultrasound . i will be posting again soon

I had gone to my doctor when i had started getting lightheaded when standing and she had done a pregnancy test (urine) that came up negative, then not even a week later i had started getting nausea. I tested at home then and still negative. After the symptoms persisted for another couple of weeks i finally said enough and went to a free pregnancy clinic near my house and sure enough positive and found out i was 7 weeks pregnant. So it is definitely possible, i had a friend who had found out she was pregnant from an ultrasound after 4 negative tests to find out she was in fact 8 weeks prego. and she didnt test positive until she was 3 months pregnant on urine tests. so it definitely happens. hello i am new to forum and in need of some help...here is my history real quick:
had mirena iud removed on 1/27/10
first period 4/3: heavy bleeding for 7 days
2nd period 5/7: heavy bleeding for 7 days
3rd period 6/6: first 2 days hardly any bleeding, day 3 heavy bleeding and severe cramps, day 4 stopped bleeding day 5 spotted occassionally and by day 6 it was done.
  
the last day of my period was 6/11..and exactly 2 weeks from that on 6/25 i started have very prominant mentrual like cramps...the cramps have continued but have become less frequent and not as strong.  along with that i am extremely fatuged, have bloating, and hae noticed the white lil bumps around my nipple..(especially after a shower or when cold) i did take a hpt  about a week after period ended because i was curious due to the strange period but unfortunely it was neg.....i just need some answers if anyone has any.. every neg, test just gets my hopes up......plz help......

Day 40 I got a bfn, but then on day 45 I got a bfp... it was weird. My DH and I were gonna wait this cycle out because of a colposcopy and possible biopsy that was scheduled. Well, surprise, surprise when I took an hpt the morning of the colp, and the result was pregnant :-) I don't know which part was better: finding out that we are expecting or not having to have a biopsy!

the same thing happen to me with my third pregnancy.  i took two home pregnancy test in aug in 09. i went to the doctor in sept on the 10. i told my doctor what was going on he said it was stress. But then i went back to the doctor in sept on the 29 they tested me and then they did a ultra sound on me. Then  i was told i was 7 in a half weeks pregnant after i took a urine test at the doctor office. I know the entire time i was pregnant but the doctor thought i wasnt. I had got the flu very easy. I thought that it was the flu but i was pregnant.

They are called false Neg resultss... Why dont you ask for a Blood testt??

The first time I was pregnant, I took two HPTs on the day of missed period and three days later with negative results I got a positive one 10 days after my missed period.

I tested negative twice at 8 weeks and positive at 12weeks. I was so sure I was pregnant (not the first time) that I just acted as if I was and we kept it to ourselves. By the time I got Doc appt thinking I may of just been too early on the first two tests I was already 14 weeks. It was a wonderful surprise.
