12 days missed cycle

My cycles are regular and I haven't missed one in years. My cycle did not arrive on its schedule due date of 1/7. I recently began an antibiotic Clindamycin on 1/1. It is now day 12 of my missed period. I took a urine test at my Dr's office on 1/15 but it was negative. Could the antibiotics caused me to miss my cycle or could I be pregnant?

of course that's what we should be here for to help answer anything we can positively. I was also very surprised to see such snappy rude responses! I hope you were able to finally get answers.

Wow...how simple you are ladies....I asked questions and this is the response...real positive....I did go to the dr. on the 15th....I asked the question on the 19th. .. I was off a few days...Anyway, It doesn't matter either way if I am or not...however, I will take an hpt today to confirm....I know better than to pose my questions again in this forum with petty ppl....only a question...take your frustrations out on the rightful owner...this is an open forum and ur allowed to ask questions whether they are silly to others or not...btw, thx Holly appreciate the civil response...

my cycles have always very regular until recently. I took a a urine test at the doctor on day 6 of missed cycle and was negative. I then took 4 home tests 6 days later and positive! Everyone is different of course so you should try testing again.

Also, your dates are inconsistent,

You say you went to the dr's on 1/15 and you were 6 days late at that time.

It is now 1/19 and you say you are 12 days late.

Your post asks if you are pregnant. Even if we were doctors, how could we possibly answer your question?  We do not know your medical history, sexual history, and can not examine you.

If you have been having unprotected intercourse then you might be pregnant.   A test should be reasonably accurate about 14 days after conception.

Imfinallypregnant...I was not 12 days late when I went to the dr....I was only 6 days late. However, many women have had negative tests and were pregnant. Yes, even when you go to the the dr...thx

And i am not saying youre too old to get pregnant or anything im just saying because if you were at this point a test would come up as positive... Anyways good luck and if you are trying for a baby i hope you get lucky next month....

Plus when you are over 35 anything can mess up your hormones and period im guessing it has something to do with the antibiotics

Omg... A negative urine test 12 days after you missed your period means NOT PREGNANT.. POSITIVE means PREGNANT i think chances are you are not if you were the test would of been positive most urine tests meansure 25ml of hcg (pregnancy hormone) which is less than the amount of hormone you have the first day you miss your period when you are pregnant... If you are concern i think you should go see a doctor i think it might be something else.

Antibiotics reduce the pills effect. Dr should have told you that
