doesn't really matter if she takes a picture in the dr's can be very obtuse and will claim its a hundred possible things before taking into consideration that you the patient know your body...its all about the good dr who actually listens...sad but true i've stood in front of the dr they ain't even touched me to see how hard it is they've just thrown possibilities...worst is I have high bp and knowing there is a possibility and that I am booked for a scan two days ago the dr prescribed me medication that is not suitable during pregnancy in the 1st three months and fatal to the baby if taken in last 6 mths of pregnancy, by my estimation since pregnancy only last 9 months its not suitable any time in pregnancy and clearly states let your doctor know if you MIGHT be pregnant there is a scan date in my notes and yet look what the doctor gives me
i would take a pic in with you to the emerg and just show them be like i clearly didnt look pregnant before i need an ultrasound . just be like if i am pregnant i havent had any prenatal care and am worried
To be fair you shouldn't have to lie to be heard, everyone keeps telling me the same thing to go to a&e and say something...but since i am telling the truth and I can see and feel what's going on with me the dr's job is to listen to the patient and a GOOD dr will. but its like finding a needle in a haystack.
The nurse at my dr's told me they don't do bloods and insisting on doing another urine even though I had done 7 myself and an 8th with the dr which I wasn't expecting to be positive and the 9th wasn't either.
My picture is just like your my stomach is hard i have the line from top of abdomen down to my pubic I have complained to them about palpitations when I lie on my back a dr took my pulse and sent me to hospital for a trace because it was fast and the trace has read my pulse as fast and I have a high bp...I would have though my drs would go through my history...I had high bp with my last pregnancy all the way through and pregnancy does cause i higher pulse rate ....I have all the signs and have had loads of symptoms but the nurse claims I don't have enough and that it is rare to have a negative hcg and still get a period the fact my period is barely able to be counted as 3 days and the last normal period was 5 days long...
I dont believe its fibroids looking on the symptoms of it as my period isnt heavy I am in no pain and heavy periods seem to be the underlying thing with fibroids, excuse me if I am wrong. but I even worse a pad this month just to see how heavy I am and to be fair there is only really one day of full on bleeding the day before and after 1 light weight pad can handle it...even my dr agrees my periods are not normal.
keep pushing for a scan it is hard going but i would tell the dr's to humour you since they are so sure you are not....the nurse at my dr's said she bet me I wasnt she actually told me I was feeling the blood through my veins because my bp is so high...but wouldnt I be in hospital if my bp is high enough that I can feel blood pumping through me veins? she also said my low potassium levels is causing spasms well a consultant has said low potassium causes muscle weakness not spasms and the fact that he highlighted I have had low potassium levels for 10yrs and appear to have had no symptoms....
So I will be looking forward to my scan just so I can give the nurse a piece of my mind for making me doubt what I see and feel to the point where half the time I dnt know if I'm going or coming because I'm confused with what I can see happening and feel and the fact that because we dont fit the normal pattern I have been robbed of enjoying what I'm feeling since I have been trying my hardest to either ignore it or film it as evidence
Good Luck
I agree, go to the hospital and say you think you're pregnant and you've been bleeding.
B4 u/s ask thm to do blood test.. It should show pregnancy... If not say you did not have cycles at all instead of telling thm u had light bleeding inbetween... Thn thy should be able to perform either u/s or look into this problem... Take cares...
Well tell them your family history then demand one. Or go into the ER saying your having bad pains and you had a positive test. They should give you a u/s then.
I have asked for an U/S every time I have been seen by my Dr in the last three months. My mother and my older sister never got a positive pregnancy test.
Could be tricking your body into false pregnancy. Some girls have gone as far as to go to a 9 month sized belly but no baby. If your really concerned push a ultra sound.
