5 years post Nova Sure Pregnancy Possible?

In February 2011 I had a Nova Sure Ablation due to horrible bleeding that lasted most of the month every month for 3 months in a row. Because I was 33 and just been diagnosed with a disorder called Alpha 1 Deficiency that is genetic, and determined to be single my whole life, with no children I didn't hesitate to have the procedure, nor did the ob/gyn. I had no desire to pass this disease on to a child of my own. In July 2011 I nearly died from septic shock (a med port that was infected). Part of sepsis is whats called systemic inflammatory response syndrome where the body goes into overdrive to protect and heal itself.  In 2014 I met the love of my life, who I will be marrying in a year. Without thinking we had unprotected sex a month ago and though I've never been pregnant I'm starting to think I may be. I've been moody as hell for a week, my breasts hurt like crazy, I'm thirsty and peeing all the time, and today I had light spotting. I almost feel like I have cramps like I used to. Then I started craving sweets and salty stuff this week and I swore that stuff off 3 years ago!!!! I'm going to be 39 in a month and I'm sure the cards are stacked against me, I must be off my rocker to think I could be pregnant. I'm afraid to get a pregnancy test because... well I'm sure it will be negative and then I'll have a sense of loss, but if it's positive I'd be worrying about not just what danger is there from being pregnant after an ablation but what if I passed the one bad gene on to this baby. I don't want to say anything to my fiance unless I know. There has been a part of me that regreted the decision when I was still in shock over my diagnosis of Alpha 1 since I met my fiance...So, I wonder is it possible I've got a shot, albeit risky, for us to have one little bundle of joy in our lives?
