9 days late

Hi All,

I have a dilemma. I am currently 9 days late, and I have been having a lot of cramping for the past week. The cramps feel like my period is about to come on, but it does not. I took a HPT when I was 7 days late and it was negative, but still no sign of my period. Has anyone gone through a similar experience? I really just need some advice, we have been trying for a year and I would love to be pregnant but I do not want to get my hopes up. SOMEONE HELP ME!! LOL I appreciate any advise or feed back!! Thanks in advance

No pregnancy test can not truly be very accurat. I had to take 3 pregnancy test (2 negative) to get a positive result and that was day of missed period and a week later. The whole time I was pregnant. Some women, including myself, ovulate a week or so before their period. Making any pregnancy test taken the week of or the week after negative, even thought they truly are pregnant.

I went thru that years ago.. turned out I was not pregnant just like the test indicated.  My period dates just changed. I had even started feeling symptoms of pregnancy but ends up being just in my head n I guess my hopes that I would be pregnant. As soon as my period came 2 weeks after all symptoms stoped. Pregnancy test r very accurate if taken after u missed ur period. So if it's negative it's negative. . It's when u take it to soon or b5 u missed ur period that they can show a false negative. It might also be the stress of trying to get pregnant for a year that may cause u to miss ur period

Give it another week or so and take another test. With this baby I knew I was pregnant right way but couldn't get a positive result till almost 2/3 after my period. Some women ovulate before their period.
