Am I pregnant?

Hi there,,

First day of my last period was on 29th June, It lasted roughly 4-5 days, on the 8th July my partner and I had sex, our protection was unsuccessful (It split) the next week I would have been ovulating. Since the day before yesterday, I've had quite a few cramps (Like period carmps) and a bit of back ache. Now, my next period is not due until the 28th July, I'm always on time, and never late. The cramps I'm getting now should not be associated with my period being due as I always get the cramps a day before (Never before that) and then boom, my period has arrived. I've had five children before, so you would think one would know! But I'm confused!! We didn't plan on having any more, as we already have five, but I guess It's our own fault for not being more careful. If I am, then we'll get on with things. Do you think I could be pregnant? I did a pregnancy test yesterday, but It was negative, probably too early! But I just want to know! I'm very impatient. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you :-)

Sorry, I can see I've made a mistake in my post. ***I meant, after my partner and I did the deed, a day or two later I would have been ovulating, not the next week*** My bad!

Hello..

Thank goodness It's not just me!!!
There is definitely something not right with this cycle, I do know my body (as you do yours) every month It's the same old, a day before, I have period cramps, and then usually that evening or next day my period has arrived. I NEVER get cramps before. I know It may sound silly to some, but that's how It is with me. I think I'm worrying a lot more, as I stated in my first post, because we already have five children we didn't really want any more, but It's our own fault for not being more careful. I mean, It could be something and nothing! But I guess we shall see. It's just so frustrating, when you know something's not quite right!!

Thank you for replying! :-)

Hi..

Yes I know It was too early, but I'm impatient lol! Anyhow, It wasn't long after my partner and I had sex and a day or two later I'd be ovulating. Yes you are right, sometimes we can read too much into It, but I guess there is always a possibility.

Thank you for replying. :-)

If you wouldn't have ovulated for another week your chances you would be exceedingly slim. You also would have only just ovulated, which means IF you were implantation would only just now be occurring or hasn't even occurred yet.

Your symptoms do sound more closely related to stress and just looking a lot into them. When women want (or fear) pregnancy they pay far closer attention to their bodies and notice every symptoms under the sun - and usually attribute it to pregnancy. You are testing however WAY too early, and need to wait to see if you get your cycle.

What a coincidence my period ended on June 29 as well. I did AI on July 4th, 8th, and 11th. I've had the cramping and the back aches as well. At first it started off in my lower belly then bloating and now the back pain has increased, I'm very in tuned with my body and this is definitely different than last month or any other month. I did a HPT it was negative but I also did a OPT and it was positive and still positive some say that the OPK shows detection of an early BFP but I'm not sure so I scheduled for B/W to be sure Im going for my P4 tomorrow.

Thank you dear!

I think I just needed to hear It from someone else, that It could happen so quickly! I've had my partner in my ear telling me that I'm just stressing, and I'm not pregnant, I'll get my period.... I know my body, and I know something's not quite right.

Thank you again :-)

It is possible you should wait a couple days or maybe a week after your missed period and you should get a pretty accurate result, use morning urine for the best result. :) Goodluck
