Thank you all I will retest tomorrow morning. If Iit still comes out as a negative I am still going to go to planned parenthood to see if my IUD or any other factor other than pregnancy is making me skip out on last month's period. Best wishes to you all! :)
There are other reasons women have long cycles. Thyroid dysfunction is a big one. If your thyroid is slow, you can have longer cycles that what was your norm. If you continue to get a negative test, I'd talk to your doctor about other reasons you are having this long cycle. Pregnancy isn't the only reason a women doesn't get a period. good luck
The line that shows up first is the control line not the test line. Take it in the morning the first time you gi
If you're two weeks late, a test should read positive by now. You're not pregnant.
I forgot to mention but I have an IUD and all my periods have arrived since the insertion so could it be that the IUD is beggining to stop my period all together? Any experience with IUD? I have had it for a a yr and four months already.
I was late with mine and took a home pregnancy test then started spotting went to the doctor they said no then went back for regular testing and they said i am come to find out i was 9 weeks pregnant by that time took the test December and January both negative foun out early February i was pregnant the whole time
Do the test with your first morning urine. It would contain the highest amount of HCG. I like the digital ones so there is no room for error although they are not cheap!
Call your ob, if you have taken st home pregnancy tests and are two weeks late they will probably do a blood test.
I think the best time to test is in the morning I found out 3 days after my missed period with a dollar store test and both lines were dark red
I had to wait about 2 and a half weeks with both my pregnancies. Some women can take it sooner than others but it took me a little longer for the hormones to show up. If u really want to know u can get a blood test done.
