Can you get pregnant days before your period is due?

I had unprotected sex on the 1st and the 2nd, I was due to come on my period two days later on the 4th. However my period has not come. My period would of normally ended by now and I am never late... Can you get pregnant 2-3 days before your period is due? or could it be something else?

Last month I had unprotected sex on 14th(1st day of period)18th,19th,23rd,24th,27th,28th & the 30th...the following month had sex on the 1st,2st,6th,7th,8th & the 9th today is the 10th which I m suppose to have my period but no show could I be pregnant......help!!

So my last period started June 7th.  It showed I was fertile on the 21,22,23 ovulate the 24th and fertile the 25th. Our Anniversary was June 24th we went away to Miami and had unprotected sex on the 21,22,23,24,25 lol I know and he came in me each time. My period is due in 4 days but I have been feeling weird 2 days ago I felt this bubbling twitch in my pelvic area on the left side. I also been having dull cramping I'm so tired and having headaches. I have 3 kids already 10, 7 and 4 but this is strange to me.  Took a PG test a couple of days ago and got a BFN.  I know it was too early to test but got suckered into only test you can take 6 days prior to missed period SMH what a crock anyway does anyone have any feedback......

Hi I got my period on jun 4 but it was bery light pink and it last 4 more day then usual so I count it as a period  and by the 17 of jun I got light spotting but it was bright red  and my period is due for 2 july and I dont have any of the symptoms the I usually have for my period ... I been having cramp in my breast and ovaries ...I did a home pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative .. can I be pregnant or no?

My period a week late.and its neva late done a few tests now and 4 have the faintest postive eva so did a digital test and it says not pregnant. I had sex last monday and my period was due last friday???? Am i pregnant or not??! Or when should i test????

I think you started your period. You should not be bleeding and cramping.

hi there, i having a simmilar issue. now missed my period by a week, pains in lower stomach and my left side. your best thing to do if your worried is take another test because you can still have periods through pregnancy.

I have been on my period but it only lasted for 4 days! i have been having pains in my lower stomach and the side near my hip!! I keep having dizzy spells and feeling sick i also havnt been eating as much as i used to but i have been sleeping alot, i done a test 2 weeks ago before i came on my period and it came back negitive does anyone know what this could be pregnant

At this point, a blood test could show pregnancy. Also a doctor will evaluate you for other causes of a missed period such as hormonal imbalances. You can still talk to your doctor and ask if they want you to come in for testing now or wait a week....and they will advise you on what to do on the meantime.  
If you are not pregnant at this time and don't want to have children at the moment, you should talk to your doctor about types of birth control. Unprotected sex over time will likely lead to pregnancy whether you are ready for it or not.

If you were pregnant you would only be about a week along. A blood test may be able to tell if you're pregnant this early. You may want to wait another week or so to get good results though.

Remar is right, if you are not specially tracking your ovulation days, you have no way to know for sure when you ovulated and if that coincided with the days you had intercourse. It takes 10-14 days post ovulation to get a positive urine pregnancy test. You can follow-up with your doctor in the meantime, or wait about 2 weeks from intercourse to test if your cycle has not started by then. If you have stopped birth control within the last 6 months or so, your cycles can also be very irregular or if you have had recent medication or lifestyle changes causing stress (new job, moving etc...)  If you do not have your cycle by 2 weeks, with a negative test and have not followed up with your GYN, you need to do so at that time.
