Could i still be pregnant?

Question

so i went for my blood work this morning and the results are Beta HCG went up to 65.7 (from 16.6 on thursday) but Progesterone decreased to 4.7 (from 26.3 on thursday) ..... the doctor said this isn't good, i have to go back for another blood work on monday.  I do take progesterone 200mg twice a day, I also take endometrin 100mg twice a day.  they also had me on Estradiol 2mg since the egg transfer and i took my last pill yesterday.   is there hope the progesterone will increase and i can still be pregnant? it's been almost 2 weeks since my egg transfer. Please let me know if anyone experienced decrease in progesterone to below 5 but was pregnant???

I want to start asap ... i was going to see my doctor this morning but was stuck in the morning rush hour so i had to reschedule for tomorrow. I want to see if the doctor will recommend that i start IVF again in March, if he does I will do that. I don't want to wait longer if I don't have to. I want to get pregnant ASAP.

Well, I have my fingers crossed that this next cycle produces 1 or 2 bu bundles of joy, and some frozen too!!!

I didn't know that they count from the retrevial date, so i guess I was 3 weeks becuse they retrieved it on 1/24.
I had 4 healthy 5 day old embroys, they transfered 2, and two were supposed to be frozen, however unfortunately they didn't make it :(

They actually calculate your weeks by you last menstrual cycle.  Not the day of your transfer.  It's all confusing!!!   So it would be from your egg retrevial date, to your u/s date.  Does that make sense?? I wish you weren't having to deal with tis.  Do you have eny frozen embryos??

I had my egg transfer on 1/29, so i was 2.5 weeks.  it was difficult to hear the nurse tell me that my blood work showed my pregnancy is not a healthy one and that i should stop my meds after seeing the sac few hours earlier and the doctor telling me that i'm pregnant.  I did speak to the doctor afterwards and he said that the ultrasound doesn't show if healthy or not.  this is all so confusing and disappointing.  
I have not never hard o refund programs or shared risk programs ... i am not sure what these programs are or where do i look for one? 
any additional info will be greatly appreciated.

Oh no!!!!  That's crazy!! How far along are you??  I hate that you received that kind of news!!!  Infertility is sooo hard.  So many of us struggled for so long, or are still struggling. For me it was 3 years of failed cycles.  There are refund programs out there and shared risk programs too. Have you checked into any option like that?

so i went for my first ultrasound today and saw a little bean. it was so exciting. but then my blood work results came and my Beta went down to 148 from 247 (on Monday). Doctor said not a healthy pregnancy and will have a miscarriage.  I'm so sad and disappointed.  My other two embryos that were supposed to be frozen, didn't make it :(.  
I have maximized my healthcare infertility treatment coverage, so now I have to save money to pay for another IVF out of packet as I do want my own children.

Is the spotting brown or red??  I bled red/brown from week 6 to week 16 almost every day. Drink lots and lots of water!!!!  It helps!!!!

so i am super excited to report that my blood work today and home PT that i took this morning confirmed that i am preggers! I am going for my first ultrasound this Friday.  I am so excited.  
Here's a summary of my blood work since last Thursday:
02/07/2013:
Beta HCG - 16.6

I am so glad you are back on the estrogen. After being on this site for several years, I have seen just as many ivf's work the first time as fail, so hang I there.  I am really hoping you get great news today!!!

So I'm back on estriodol as of today, only missed taking it for one day. I did bleed lightly from Monday through Friday last week, it was light at first abs it got a little heavier towards the end. I did have some cramping earlier last week. My blood work did test positive last Thursday which was 1.5 weeks after my egg transfer. Then the following Saturday (yesterday) my blood work showed that HCG uncreated by more than 50% but my progesterone dropped below 5 and the nurse said "that's not a good sign". I am going back for another blood work tomorrow. I am so upset and disappointed. I don't think the egg transplant took, I don't think I'm pregnant :(

Do you know why they took you off estrogen??  I was on estrogen and progesteone until week 10 or 12.  I would check with them and get back on it.

I have never been in this situation but from what you described it doesn't sound too good, your doctor is worried because your body is threatening a misscarriage. I hope your little bean sticks! Goodluck!
