Dark Brown and Red Light Period, Possible Pregnancy?

Hello! I've been on Necon 7/7/7 for about a year now and usually it makes to think I'm pregnant but never actually have been. A few weeks ago I was put in antibiotics (amoxicillin) for strep throat and ended them about two weeks ago. I am sexually active and we did have sex during those days (he did not ejactulate inside of me and we used the pull out method). (Before this period, mine was on 12/6/16).
My period is usually dead accurate when it starts and it had on Tuesday of this week. However, the bleeding is lighter than usual (I fill about a pad a day, my second day) and the bleeding is a dark brown and occasionally red. When I wipe its kinda pink but always goes on the pad. It's consistent but light. I don't not experience any pregnancy symptoms however I am extremely worried.
Should I take a a pregnancy test? Or am I overthinking the whole thing?
