First month bcp- normal or implantation?

I was ttc and only for a short time. I decided I was going back to school for nursing so I started bcp. I started my placebo pills sunday,started light bleeding wed night had a light pink light flow thursday and by thuesday night it pretty much stoped with the exception of brown when I wipe. Today I had a panty liner on all day and nothing until I wipe and its still the old brown blood. I am not sure if this is what happens on the first months pack but and insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Talked to my gyn and she said it most likely wouldnt show up until I miss my next period because last period was likely implantation bleeding. She said the big red flag was my breasts having shooting pains and my nipples as well and still does. It was my first month on the bcp and she said it happens less than 30% but its there. Time will tell!!

Woke up this morning with extermley tender breasts. Could it be I may have ovulated on the pill? I know when this started was the day after my placebo pills ended. I just feel like I am going to get my period,sore boobs,cramps and backache. And I only did get my period for like a day, I had brown old blood then light pink then brown, nothing heavy ever came. idk. Only a test will tell, one more day! I'll let you know when I find out. =)

shooting pains in breats*

So I have been up all night with really bad back ache like sciatica and annoying cramps. I also have sharp shooting pains and I have no idea what that is about. I have to wait until tuesday to get a test because I am broke lol. I duno if its my body adjusting or maybe pg. hmm. ??

Yeah. I've been cramping randomly since I gave birth and it drives me crazy. Since I'm breastfeeding I haven't had a period in almost 8 months, so mine don't produce anything anyways.

Yah,ive been taking ibprofen and using a heating pad. It just ***** having cramps when your periods a full cycle away lol

I wish I could help, but I've never taken birth control pills. I'm breastfeeding, so they're not an option for me. (would kill my milk supply) I hope that you get can some answers from others though. Have you tried taking anything to help them, or tried heat?

did either of you or anyone else that reads this have cramps the week after there period while on bcp? I am having cramps like i do the week before my period and it *****.

i just had a baby on dec 7 and  i started the bcp they were making my period heavy and everyday so i quit them and we just found out in april i am pregnant already...so i would stop taking them just until you make sure

I'm having cramps as we speak, =( I hope its just the bcp trying to regulate me. Maybe I will just stop until then just to be safe. I dont think I am but it cant hurt to be safe. =) Thank you.

Depends on what kind. Birth control if taken while pregnant can cause birth defects and miscarriage. Some are "more safe" than others, but you generally don't want to take any while pregnant if you are. You can choose if you would rather stop and wait till you know for sure. If you do choose that route, make sure you're using condoms and such every time you have sex.

I'll take a test Saturday just to be sure. That should be long enough. If I am an I'm taking the bcp it won't hurt nething right? Makes me a lil nervous even tho I think I'm ok. :)

Sounds like your body is adjusting to the hormones in the BCP.  To be on the safe side try using condoms too until your body can establish a regular period again.  It is possible that your are so I would take a HPT to be positive you're not.  Good luck!
