HCG LEVELS

Ok, I went to the doctor yesterday after I took two pregnancy test and they both were faint lines, but positive, so I went to the er. they took a pregnancy test. the first one was negative and the doctor told me the nurse didn't wait long enough, so she took a second one which was positive and was faint it was very dark. I went to ultrasound they didn't see anything but they also did blood work. When the blood work came back they said my level was 16 so there were very little hormones. They told me to come back 2 or 3 day. AM IM PREGNANT OR NOT?? WHAT'S GOING ON!!!

When I got pregnant with this pregnancy i did 2 at home test that was positive and i missed my period when I went to my doctor my pregnancy test was negative he just told me to come back in six weeks he said he could do the hcg testing but sometimes that just get people worried i went back in six weeks and I was 10weeks pregnant  I am currently 16 weeks I think you're just early. I did one of those pregnancy test that told me I was 2+weeks because I ovulated more than 3 weeks before.

No one here could tell you if you are or aren't.  Ultrasound and blood tests are as definitive as it gets.  You can have a false negative due to very low hormones, but a false positive is very rare and would not occur more than once (meaning it is triggered by a faulty home pregnancy test or chemical pregnancy).   Either you are pregnant but very early on and should wait until your 1st missed period or just have very low HCG levels....  or it is possible to have a chemical pregnancy which is basically a pregnancy that ended almost as soon almost it began leaving some trace amounts of hormones.

It could just be really early. Just keep having your levels your checked and give it some time.
