I have a copper iud and I haven't gotten my period could I be pregnant?

I'm a mother of one and I've had a 10-year copper IUD for 6 years now. My periods have never been normal and they are still irregular. Sometimes they are heavy and sometimes I only spot for about a day or two but I'm beginning to think I might be pregnant because I haven't had the faintest sign of a period in over 3 weeks. I was only 17 when I had my son n I didnt find out I was pregnant until I was 5 months because I never had any symptoms so I don't really know what to make of this because, like my first pregnancy, I don't feel nauseous or dizzy. Help.

I have the skyla with hormones and my roomate has the copper skyla and niether of us have regular periods. Ill go 3 months with out even spotting and then ill have my period for 2 days or lightly spot for the next 10 days and shes the exact same way. Its never consistant but the way I see it is its the most effective birth control in science and you probably paid close to $600 for it like I did so I think you can trust it. Getting pregnant on it is like a 1/1000 my gyno told me (0.01%) as long as its in place, which you can easily check. Im 19 and a very anxiety prone college kid, and I don't even worry about it. I honestly think you're not pregnant but If it would ease your mind you could take a test but seriously, dont stress about it. I dont even consider getting pregnant a possibility with my IUD and I cant tell you the last time my boy friend and I used a condom (sorry if thats tmi).
