Implantation bleeding

Okay...so implantation bleeding. I didn't have it with my first pregnancy.

Last night when I went to the restroom and wiped there was a bit of blood. My period was due so my hope of being preggo just plummeted. Then this morning only a bit more blood. Usually on my first 3 days of my period I bleed very heavily. Since I had to come into work I put on a pad. I get to work and there is nothing but a smidge of blood on the pad, more when I wipe, and one clot when I actually urinated. (When I bleed there are TONS of clots...sorry TMI) As the day has been progressing (I've already been here for 6 hours) my bleeding has gotten lighter and lighter. This is extremely abnormal for me. My first 3 days are always my heaviest and worst. I've had some slight cramping, nowhere near what I usually get though. I'm not even searching for hot packs around here. (I work in a hospital...but not with baby doctors or nurses.)

Could this be implantation bleeding? Or is it most likely just a funky period? (My periods are very clockwork and always the same.) Hubby and I are testing on Monday...even though if the bleeding becomes heavier we'll probably say $crew it and just try again next month. (No pun intended...)

Sounds like implantation bleeding, but we can't be your doctor. You should go see a doctor, just in case. Better safe than sorry. Goodluck.
