Is it breakthrough bleeding? Could i be pregnant?

Hi i am trying to get pregnant me and my husband have 2 already. I am late for my period and done about 4 hpts and all were neg i also had a test at the docs which was inconclusive i have been getting heartburn and my breasts feel sore and fuller today started bleeding but it is very light it doesnt feel like a normal period and my belly seems to be more bloated. Has anyone had this? Its starting to annoy me know as i just want to know one way or the other. x

Oh and I forgot to mention, since my breast have been a bit tender, I place a soaked cloth with warm water over my breast to easy out the feeling of the tenderness. Well when I removed the cloth I noticed a little of clear liquid coming out from my breast. I've breast feed both of my kids, but the last time I have breast feed was a little over a year ago. Anyhow, I squeezed my breast to see if more would come out and sure enough, I got 2 little tiny drops from each breast. I'm not sure if this would mean anything or if I should worry. I have produced Colostrum on both of my pregnancies when I was about 2-3months pregnant. But in this case if I am pregnant I should only be about 6 weeks pregnant, so I think it's way to soon for this to be happening. This just make it more confusing! lol.

Actually I completely stopped on Monday the 9th. I only use two pads  for this whole abnormal period or bleeding. I started with some very small amount on the night of the 4th. The following day (5th) I woke up with a small amount of flow bleeding I used one pad, at night it didn't seem I would need a pad. On the 6th I used another pad for another small amount of flow bleeding, and 7th, 8th, and 9th I didn't need one they were just spot like. I went to the urgent care where all they could say to me was, "It's just an abnormal period." My pregnancy test there came out negative. It is now about 3 days after my mini episode of period and I still feel pregnant, my breast still feel fuller, and I cramp here and there, it's not painful cramping though. I still have this gut feeling of being pregnant. I know I should test again but I think I'm just going to wait for a little while longer. How are you doing so far?

*****Note: My mini episode of period or bleeding was not all the time spotting, I had two days of flow too. Which makes all this very confusing, because normally my period are 5-7 days long and for 3-4 days I have heavy flow (where I would need to use about 7-8pads or tampons during my whole NORMAL period) and the ending days are just a light ending flow to spotting.

Def sounds like you are going through the same as me my breasts are fuller and my belly is bigger to i will call docs on mon and see if i can have a blood test was really hoping my urine test would tell me but even that was inconclusive its driving me crazy still been feeling duzy in the mornings. Will let you know. x

If I am pregnant, I should be 4weeks and one day today, but I'm having the same issue as batty77 right now. On 1/4/11 I just started having this very light bleeding of pinkish/light redish colored blood. It's not even heavy like my normal PMS. At first I was exited thinking this was implantation bleeding, because with my first little girl I had implantation bleeding that only lasted for about a couple of hours and it was just dime size spots. This time it's different and now I am starting to think I am not pregnant.Though I am having some irritation on my breast they feel fuller and heavier, something that does not usually happen even before of after my PMS is due. Good luck though. :)

You need to see a doctor and have blood testing done. It will eliminate guessing, and you'll know for sure what is going on.

I was also very dizzy this morning like when you stand up to quickly.... Wish i knew either way if i am pregnant.

God i am even more confused now still bleeding very lightly so after reading that with implantation bleeding its only tiny spots and pinkish/brown i did put it down to my period especially as mine was light red now i have read some ppls thread and they say theirs was same colour as mine and like a mini period, i am still having small cramps which aren't really painful but noticable.

Hey huni i dont think you can while you are on but if you were finishing really not sure i know you can fall pregnant very easy straight after you finish.

mine is just noticable when i wipe myself its not even worth wearing anything but i will see how i am tomoz, both of my little ones where planned and i did lots of testa which all came out neg but i knew i was thats the feeling i'm getting now, i thought i was last month but my period started so i knew for sure i wasnt this is completely different its so light maybe i am hoping to much that i am.

I am really confused, I have a 30 day cycle and had unprotected sex on day 4 and day 6 of my period when it was just about finished. Is there any chance I could get pregnant as i heard you cant while on your period, Look forward to hearing some advice, thanks :-)

My last period, which just ended a couple days ago I bled for about an hour and stopped for almost 24 hours before it started again. I know for a fact I'm not pregnant.

I have only had light bleeding but it seems to be stopping already i will do another test just strange because i am always regular and never get sore boobs when i'm due on.

It's hard to say...it could be that your period is a little late. Since you haven't had a positive pregnancy test yet, and you are late I would assume that's the reason for the bleeding now...just an off period. BUT that doesn't mean for sure. If it's just spotting and not a full on period I would test again. Pregnancy and PMS are so similar it's hard to tell for sure.
