Sperm cannot swim through clothing. Sperm are not super strong. They can live in an open environment but the will degrade making them less viable should they ever reach the vaginal opening. Then there is the task of making it through the vaginal to the egg. Most sperm die doing this under the best of circumstances.

He should be more concerned about some STDs which he could realistically contract and spread. Not pregnancy.

Not being rude or anything but even sperm on the outside of the vagina die quickly. So unless you were in here she's not pregnant. She could be late due to stress anxiety even depression or she's pregnant and it may not be yours. Again not being rude or insulting when I say that but I've witnessed girls who try to say they're pregnant with their boyfriends baby and it turns out to be someone else's.
