Isn't two days enough to get a positive result in home pregnancy test?
I'm two days late from my menstruation cycle. It has been regular past four months. I checked today, but pregnancy result is negative. I'm having other pregnancy symptoms too for these two days. Like vomiting, frequent urinating etc.. What could that mean? Can it take more days to know if it is positive in results??

it just really depends. some woman can get a positive result before missed period and some take longer or some have to have a blood pregnancy test done. i took a test this morning and it came up positive. my last period was dec 1,2011 and i havn't had one since and i finally got a positive result. i was supposed to have a period on dec 31,2011 and nothing im exactly 4 weeks from dec 31,2011 and i got apositive. im excited. and drinkn alot of fluid before testn can diluted ur urine. give it a few days and retest. good luck and baby dust to you.
Oh, thank you :) Yeah, may be so. I read now that to wait at least a week after due date to test. Also, I drank a lot of water just before I tested. They say that that could be a reason to get a negative result since the urine would be diluted due to the excess of water. :|

I tested 2days before and got a positive. Some peoples hormones take a while to reach the right level to register on a HPT. Wait a few daus and try again :) Fingers crossed for you. :)
Some women can get a positive a few days before their missed period, I didnt get a positive until 13 days after the missed period, and some women just dont test positive on home pregnancy test.
