Late period..Negative test

My last period was on the 21st of Feb, it was late by 4 days ((8 years of period at 28 days)) the last time it was missed i was pregnant and after I had my son it went back to normal after giving birth.
Now the 29th of March and it was due on the 20th, on the 23rd I took a test and got negative, 6 days later it still hasnt arrived. My cervix is high and cervical mucus is pretty wet and sticky. i have heartburn and bloating and the need to pee alot more frequent even if its just a little bit I'm fairly tired all day and the only food that doesnt make me feel ill is very salty :s..Is it possible that I am pregnant or just late again due to neg preg test?

My husband got me to take another one half hour ago, it came back negative again.
I drank too much before taking the test, I didnt know it could interfere.
With my first pregnancy the test worked after it was late for 4 days
I guess i'm just not, annoyed with this whole dissapearing period though !
will wait a bit longer to test again though
