Ovarian Cyst Mimicking Pregnancy?

I went to the doctor, they did an ultrasound but said nothing was there... I am just hoping that it might be early or something... Although this would be my 8th week according to them last week... They then felt around and my left ovary is significantly bigger than the right one to the point where you can see it buldging out of my lower abdomen... The doctor said depending on the size of the cyst, it could make you have frequent trips to the bathroom, breast tenderness, nausea and vomiting, and lower abdomen pain just like a pregnancy... i am just a little confused, now the tests I took, some were lightly positive, two were negative and only one was absolutely positive... I am kind of worried now that there is no baby. Could the cyst mimick a pregnancy and make the pregnancy tests positive? Or should I go to another doctor? I am quite sad right now...

Thanks all! I went to a different doctor today, I AM pregnant but not as far along as I thought... Which explains why I haven't been feeling different at all... I am 5 weeks, 5 days.

Mine didnt change either.. They still havent even though I  have a 9 month old attached all the time it feels like!

You didn't scare me, I mean I have always been told "hope for the best, prepare for the worst." It has been a thought all day... I don't necessarily feel pregnant either, and if I am I would be 8 weeks. I have seen no change in anything, people have said "well your nipples get brown and big" mine have not changed. I have actually been losing weight, but I have felt nauseous. I guess/hope we get it figured out tomorrow.

If u read the small print on a pregnancy test it says that ovarian cysts can give a false positive..sorry if I scared you..you should get it checked out

I haven't had a blood test but I am going to another doctor tomorrow for another test and blood work... I keep having horrible cramps to the point I am doubling over but idk

Either that or not to scare you is it possible to have an ectopic pregnancy??? If you still havent started your period and you are getting positive test it sounds like you are pregnant. But again we arent drs so its hard to really give a good answer. Then again sometimes drs can miss things.

Has your doctor done blood work to confirm pregnancy? It seems weird that you would have a positive test but no baby. Maybe baby is behind the cyst? I honestly don't know what to suggest other then having blood work done.
