PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS WITH AN IUD
i had the mirena IUD placed about 5 months ago and had sex for the first time since it was placed 4 weeks ago im now having pregnancy symptoms and im very scared ive taken 2 at home tests though and both were negative PLEASE I NEED ADVISE OR HELP!
Two weeks before intercourse? If so, then wait another week or so and take another test. Its not likely but you can never discard the possibility. Like I said before I have seen it happen, but usually when it does, the Iud was never in the right place to begin with. You may want to ask your GYN doctor to order a transvaginally ultrasound to see that your IUD is in place.
i dont think so i barely get my period with the mirena but i had it 2 weeks before it was the only 1 ive had since getting the IUD
Are you about to get your period? Some people still have mentrual cycles and they can mimic pregnancy however…I have had many patients who have become pregnant with an IUD. You need to make sure that your IUD in intact. Dont freak out just yet! :)
