PREGNANT OR NOT?!

before i go and spend money on a pregnancy test, i need to know if i can even be pregnant and i need another opinion other than my own. I JUST recently got back on the pill after two years. me and my boyfriend only use the pill as our birth control and he pulls out, but, last month when i had just started the pill i got my period twice and inbetween the 2 periods we had sex. and then when the second period went away and i was still on the last week of my pills, we had sex again a few times. now i stopped taking the pills for the month and got my, what i think was my period, the day after i stopped taking them like expected but my period was light and only lasted a day when it normally lasts about 5-6. now i feel tired, bitchy, heartburn, crampy but no period since it only lasted a day, soar breasts, hungry all day.. kind of the same things i felt with my first got pregnant with my son almost 2 years ago. but this whole 3 period thing is throwing me all off? i dont know if this 1 day period was just spotting? or if its just my pill. ive heard stories about getting pregnant on the pill even if you take it every day at the same time like i did. PLEASE someone help me out before i take a test. and/or start my pills again for the next month!!!

As others posters have stated, a true menstrual cycle while pregnant is not possible. You can have period like bleeding, but this is not an actual one. If a female had a true period while pregnant, the uterine lining the egg embeds into would be shed and flushed out of the body resulting in miscarriage.

Anytime you are sexually active (especially when no protection is used) you risk pregnancy, so you will definitely need to take a pregnancy test with first morning urine.

It could be the pill.. if you only recently got back on then it could cause some some break through bleeding as your body adjust.. you can still test but its a real possibility that the side effects are related to the pill..

Hope you get the answer you want

Although it isn't normal to have a period while pregnant, it hast happened to people before. ( watch " I didn't know I was pregnant") also, re-starting the pill can mess up your normal period cycle which could possibly account for your 3 irregular periods. If you haven't bought a test yet, see if you can go to a clinic where they can do one for free since it is hard to tell on a home test when you are very early in the pregnancy

There is a definate possibilty you could be, and all of those symptoms could mean you are, but the only way to truly know is for you to either go buy a home test or go to your local health dept. Some women still have their period while pregnant, or some spotting here or there. Make yourself feel better and take the test. I hope everything turns out great for you. If you wanna ask anymore questions, feel free. If I know the answer ill do the best I can to explain it:)
