People please read... Any help would be grateful

My last period was on the 16/10/2011, my partner and I have been trying to conceive, and I took a couple of hpts in November and start of December they came back negative.
I was pregnant a year and a half ago and with that pregnancy I didn't show up on a hpt till I was 3 months gone, pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
Is it possible that I am pregnant. I was sick a couple of times late November and begin of December, nausea on and off, headaches, lower back ache, boobs feel bigger and heavier, recently I been feeling dizzy, late afternoon I been getting indigestions, I have also been feeling very bloated and my lower abdomen looks bit more prominent. In the evening I have also been suffering with a weird sensation in my lower abdomen, as well as having mild cramping pains every now and again.
A lot of these symptoms are similar to what I had last time I was pregnant. So is it possible that I am pregnant otherwise why have I not had my period?

Update... Got results back from drs.... Boring negative which *****..... So still none the wiser..... Also went to the toilet this morning and wen I wiped there was a tiny bit of like brownish blood like a tiny spot.... Nothing else though for the rest of the day.
So come Monday looks like I got to go back to the drs yet again and hopefully this time I can get the dr to do an ultra sound.

So when to the drs again this morning, saw a different dr, they sending me up the hospital for a blood test and go from there, fingers crossed the results will come back positive.

I have got to go drs next week to hopefully see if they will book me in for an ultra sound, they wouldn't do one until I had missed 3 periods

Further update.... 3 missed periods, and my boobs getting heavy and more painful, the area around my nipples is getting darker, among the previous symptoms....but where is the positive hpt

Update, so woke up this morning still no sign of af, and my god do my boobs hurt today, and my lower back is hurting, now joining all the other synptoms....l...Is it too much to ask to get a positive hpt!!!!!

Sounds about average. In the states they can vary anywhere from $50-$250. £100 is roughly $160.

I mean, you can wait but I strongly recommend you do not. Outside of having blood work done or an ultrasound, there's not really much else that you can do to figure it out.

Yea, Im getting my bf to bring me another test after he gets off work... I cant go to the doc.... Thats just to much money... Im just gonna have to play the waiting game which i have already been doing!!! It just ***** not knowing for sure whats going on with me. Ive never been late like this and def dont ever have these symptoms im having also... I just hope everything is going to be okay with the baby if i am pg.. Is there a possiblilty i am preg? And what are the chances?

Even if you do not have insurance, it's important that you see a doctor to find out what is going on. Trust me, I understand what it's like to not have money (I have over $250,000 in medical bills right now) but your health is important and it's important to see if you're pregnant or not so you can get the proper care. Many clinics have pay based on a sliding scale and many also have different programs to help you pay if you have low income.

Dollar store tests are just as accurate as any other, I've used them many time myself.

   Im in the same situation as you are.... I was supposed to have a visit from AF on DEC. 18 and it is now Jan. 12 and i still havent started. I have taken 3 hpt and all were neg. but they were the cheap ones.. Does that have any effect on the results?? I dont have any type of insurance and the local clinics dont do blood test anymore!! I need help. I dont know what to do!!! And its killing me not knowing what is going on... I had a m/c 2 years ago at 3 and a half months so if i am preg i really want to do things exactly how im supposed to!! I have headachs, my lower back hurts really bad, and i have bad heart burn... Any opinions??? Any would be greatly appreciated!

She lives in the UK, and I'm not sure if Planned Parenthood exists outside of the US.

Most ultrasounds are not too expensive, and it's vital that you see what is going on - right now you would be around 12-13 weeks pregnant if you are, and by the end of January you will be 15-16 weeks. You need to be having prenatal care. Ultimately a child is going to cost you hundreds (or thousands) more than an ultrasound will, so that is also something to keep in mind as to if you can afford a child.

Update, when to drs again urine sample came back negative and they checked for urine infection which came back clear.
Doctor said I now have to wait till end January before they will consider an ultra sound.

Update went to the drs the morning... Explained my last period was 16/10/11 I have now got to do a urine test for them to send off, as apparently they don't do blood test now. I then have to wait a week for results, then depending if urine negative I have to wait till end of January to go back to the drs for them to do another exam and send me for an ultra sound. The dr said they won't do any thing else even though I miscarried my last preganacy at 14 weeks and with that one I didn't show preganat till nearly 3 months

Stress isn't always negative. When you're happy, that's technically still stress. It's good that you have an appointment though, they will be able to tell you what's going on. Good luck!

I am not stressed or anything.
I have got a drs appointment tomorrow so I am hoping they will do a blood test, I might even try and see if I can get a ultra sound, as I have just got this feeling that I am pregnant.

It's always possible you're pregnant when you are sexually active, especially without contraceptives. Few women will not show on a pregnancy test when they are used accurately, however if this is the case you need to make a doctors appointment and request a beta blood test. This will read the exact level of hCG in your blood and will give you a 100% accurate answer. Unless it's done too early (with wouldn't apply in this case) or the labs messes up (extremely rare) it won't be wrong. If you're NOT pregnant, different things can cause you to not have a period. Stress of TTC, underlying medical conditions, or you just don't ovulate one cycle for no reason at all.
