Period is late?

As of today (May 30th) my period is four days late. This past month I had sex the day before I got my period. I know it was not just bleeding but my actual period because that was when it was due and felt just like my normal period. Making my chance of being pregnant slim. However, it's still late! Also, I've recently went from a vegetarian diet to vegan this whole month as well as a started a fairly rigorous exercise plan. I noticed some weight/fat loss and increased muscle gain. Could my drastic change in diet and exercise be the cause?

Very likely the diet change caused the delay. You had sex so close to your period, and then got a period, so you're definitely not pregnant if you got a period after. You ovulate about halfway through your cycle, so having sex close to your period will usually not result in pregnancy, or even a chance of pregnancy, I'd say you're just fine! Don't worry about it!

Thanks for your feedback! That eased my mind a lot (still no period though!) I cut down the exercise a bit and skipped today and yesterday but I don't know if it'll make a difference. Should I just wait for next months when it would be due and not worry?

I wouldn't worry at all, its going to take some time for your body to adjust to the change of diet, if it lasts too long you can see your doctor about it, but I HIGHLY doubt you're pregnant!
