I am 20 years old I just lost my virginity to my boyfriend not too long ago. I started my birth control pills on May 4th Monday and my period ended May 1st I was supposed to start the pills that Sunday but forgot. I also had unprotected sex the day my period ended which was a Friday... and then once again waited off till Monday the 4th to begin them. It is also my first time using pills so I know it is common for my period to be late but I don't know if me Starting my pill late could have messed up anything. I have been pretty tired lately and my period is on its 2nd day late. Could I be ?!! should I keep waiting to see if my period will come or just take a test in a clinic? My period has been irregular before I ever started having sex

Well my friend got pregnant while on birth control so anything is possible. Especially is you miss a day. But yeah I mean if your period is irregular than you really don't know when to expect it. So you could think you're two days late on your period but it's irregular so how would you really know, but I mean it's really your call you could wait for your period or goto the clinic. But anytime you have unprotected sex you have a chance of getting pregnant. I'd personally would just goto a free clinic.

No I just don't know much about birth control I'm not sure if I am still protected against getting pregnant depending on the timing I had sex I guess it doesn't matter thanks

Since your period is normally irregular I'd just goto a clinic to be safe.
