Pregnant or Not?

Hi. I am 35 years old and do not have any children. My last period was 12/30/15. I am never late and my period is so regular. However, I was starting to think maybe I was pregnant when I was about 5 days late. I took an HPT on 01/31/16 and it was very faint positive. I thought maybe I drank too much that day and my urine was too diluted, so I took another one the next day with my first urine. Still very faint positive. I was also experiencing some symptoms of early pregnancy - bloating, backache, frequent urination, some cramping. While these are also symptoms of PMS, it felt different this time around. I was pretty sure I was pregnant.

On day 8 of being late, I woke up with bleeding. When I urinated, it was somewhat heavy, but nothing heavier than a period. I immediately thought I had a miscarriage. Pregnancy symptoms were also slowly beginning to disappear too. During that day, I didn't even bleed enough to soak an entire pad. The next day, I wore a pantyliner, but barely anything was on it. So I only bled for about 1 day and it wasn't heavy. I had slight cramping, but nothing worse than when I have my period.

I'm so confused now because I still haven't gotten my period. I also took one Dollar Tree HPT last week and it was negative. I took another one today and it was negative. What is going on with me?

I also have felt some symptoms ever so slightly over the past week or so. Could I actually be pregnant but just having false negatives? Or did I have a miscarriage? And where is my period? I'm so confused!!

My appointment is on Wednesday (it's almost Tuesday now), so there really is no point in changing it now. I'll just wait until Wednesday.

It's weird because I just missed another time when I was supposed to get my period. I am also feeling some slight pregnancy symptoms again (nausea, dizziness, slight bloating, slight cramping, sore breasts). I just don't know what to make of it all.

I can't believe Mother Nature makes early pregnancy such a trying and difficult time. You really need a lot of patience to get through the first trimester. :) Either way, I can't wait to find out what has been going on with me.

The problem is that it could also be a pregnancy outside of the womb. The slight bleeding with the pregnancy test changes could mean a number of things. Can you see if your doc could get you in sooner?

I have an appointment in a couple of days, but it's been so hard to wait. I was just curious to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this.

I think you should go to the doctor. And ask them.
