Too early to test?

I am due to start my cycle between saturday and monday. I am having a few signs that could be pregnancy but then again could just be that I am going to start in a week.(IE  Tender breasts, cramps, tired all the time, nauseous right after I eat) Husband and I are TTC. I have the first response that says to predict 6 days before your missed period. My question is how soon is too soon to test. 6 days would technically be tomorrow or wednesday. Or should I wait till next week and see if I miss it before I test?

Welll you COULD try, but if you get a negative is it going to stress you out or can you remember that an early negative does not necessarily mean you aren't pregnant?

I tested early with all 3 of my healthy pregnancies (i have 2 kids and I'm on pregnancy #4, my first was a miscarriage)...but the earliest I tested was 9dpo, which would be 5 days early, and the line was SUPER SUPER faint....at 10dpo it was slightly less so, and when I tested at 11DPO with this pregnancy (3 days early) I got a very clear positive.

So...if you can test, get a negative, and be OK with waiting and see if it's a true negative or not - you can test. But if you think it will stress you out, you might want to wait at least until thursday or friday. Who knows you might get a faint positive and how exciting would that be?

If you're worried about spending too much money just go buy a handful of dollar tests and test every day lol that's what I did starting at 9DPO with my son, 10dpo with my daughter, and with this pregnancy I tested for 3 days starting at 11DPO.
