Trying to get pregnant after stopping the pill

Hi, me and my husband are trying to have a baby now. Around the 21st through the 24th of January i had my normal period at the end of my birth control pill pack. I ended up starting a new pack until we had "the talk" soon after the talk I stopped taking my pills which was on the 27th and on the 31st I was experiencing heavy bleeding and cramping. Now, I am still bleeding heavy but on the 30th we had sex...is there any chance I could be pregnant ? How soon after stopping birth control pills will I know if I ovulated?
