When to take a test?

My baby boy is about to turn 3 months so I've been on birth control. My period has gone back to normal just like it did after my other two children. It was like I never had a baby. But I'm about 2 days late. I don't want to jump to conclusions saying Oh, I'm pregnant!... Because it could very well be the pill. But, I noticed I cramped about a week before I was due and it stopped. The only thing that led me to think maybe there is a chance is because with each pregnancy in the very beginning, I felt queasy and when hubby would ask me what I wanted for lunch, etc, I would tell him something and then be like no. Because nothing sounded good. Kinda like a nagging yuck feeling towards food a little bit. And the past two days, my morning coffee has made me feel sick to my stomach. For those that don't know, I had a son in 2011 and when he was 3 months old, I found out I was pregnant with boy #2.... and this baby I just had was ALMOST 2 years difference. I made a joke to hubby that it would be funny and crazy if I got pregnant again when our baby was 3 months like the first one..lol

Anyway, I was just wondering when do you take a test if you're on the pill? My first, we weren't on the pill when I got pregnant. My second, I stopped taking it and was pregnant a month later. My hubby says we will wait until Friday to test if I haven't started by then. I know my birth control can mess with it, but I haven't had any problems so far. Would Friday be a good time to test or should I wait even longer?

I'm currently not taking any of them just in case. We are safe if we do anything for now. Which isn't too hard considering we have a 3 year, 2 year and 3 month old lol.. Don't always have time.

I would be testing now just in case. Yes, it may be early but if you are pregnant theres still a chance it may show up. And you obviously wouldn't continue taking the pill if you were as it can cause defects etc. Thats just my opinion personally as I would be worried that something may go wrong.  Best of luck

That's how it was with my middle son. My first was only 3 months when I found out. They are 11 months apart now. It's so hard some days, but I love it. I just don't want to be missing too many birth control pills if I am not pregnant. So I will definitely test this week.

I don't know if birth control plays a different role when determining if you are pregnant or not, but I would test after the missed period.
