OK, good for you. The soreness can just be regular hormonal fluctuations, so I wouldn't read into that much. take care.

If you don't feel ready for a baby, then please do wait. Having a baby is a major life changing experience and you need to be prepared as best you can for that to happen, with a stable job/income, stable relationship(married or very long-term relationship), own health insurance, transportation, etc.

If you took the test correctly and in the right time frame, then I would trust the test. Also, you had a period, so that means you are not pregnant. Sex should not be this stressful. If you don't feel ready, please don't have sex. If you want to have sex, then make sure you are always using protection.

You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex and get an accurate result. If you take it before that, then you can get a false negative. If you only had sex on May 30th, then you're not pregnant. You can't have a period when you're pregnant, though you may have bleeding during pregnancy but it would not be like your normal period. If you had sex after your period, then you'll need to wait until it's been at least 2 weeks and then test again. If you don't want to get pregnant, you need to be using protection at all times. Good luck.
