Hi I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and my best friend just found out she is 12 weeks not long ago.. She also got some bad news she has type 2 herpies and has already started on medication but there is no permit cure..I'm so excited to be going threw this together but she is very concerned about passing it on to her baby..anyone have any advice how to help her?
^^not true! They will most likely put her on medicine (valtrex/acyclovir/valacyclovir) to suppress the hsv a few weeks before its time to deliver so it won't be passed on to baby. Tell her to talk openly to her doctor about it so they can come up with the best plan for her and the baby.
