Sounds like my situation, We TTC on Aug 18, when my period was due the 20th, I started bledding lightly on the 24th (brownish redish, hard to explain). I have taken tests since.. And i get negative. We have TTC since, so I guess i'm just gonna wait around and see if I miss my sept period. Good luck, update us on your outcome.

Also when was the first day of your last normal period? because you usually ovulate from what ive read the 11-16 day or your cycle or something like that any one of those days a egg could of came in. The egg survives for 12-24 hours then its desinigrates. Trust me i did my research.... let me know if my situation with the bleeding is simliar or like what i had because now im 24 weeks prego and due december 21.

Im no doctor but that sounds like implantation bleeding or spotting where the fertilized egg is bedding down in the uterous which may cause pinkish to dark brown almost black spotting or bleeding. It usually happen 6-12 or 7-14 days after ovulation and fertilization. It happened to me i had light bleeding almost spotting dark brown blood for like 2 days but it wasnt consistent it would start then stop then  it quit all together. My breasts were very tender around this time and i never have pms symptoms so i knew something was up a week later or so had a positive pregnancy test.... im no doctor just that happened to me and it was nothing like a period. It was abnormal.
