I am going in for my 3rd HCG test on monday, I am trying not to stress out. Since there is too much stress already in my life. I am scared because my HCG numbers haven't doubled like they should at this point and I am having a lot of pregnancy symptoms, tender breasts, bathroom trips, eatting more, weird dreams, sleepy. No morning sickness yet, but my sister didn't have it at all.
Can the baby still be ok????? Even when the numbers don't doubleDouble-tussin dm right away???
I'm sorry you're going through this - I've been in your shoes. The waiting and not knowing is the worst. Everything I've read says that most HCG numbers will doubleDouble-tussin dm every 48-72 hours (did your goes go up 60%? if so, that's a good sign). If they don't doubleDouble-tussin dm, it's definitely a sign that maybe things aren't developing properly, but it is by no means conclusive, especially if you're having symptoms. My doc says that some womenWomen's way won't experience the doubling but will go on to have healthy pregnancies. However, numbers that don't doubleDouble-tussin dm often indicate an impending m/c.
Once the numbers reach 1500-2000, you should be able to see something on an u/s which is much more reliableReliable gentle laxative that HCG. If you aren't experiencing any bleeding or cramping and you're still having symptoms, I would hold on on making any decisions until you have an u/s to match up with the HCG numbers.
When my numbers didn't double, I waited for the u/s - which did end up telling us that the pregnancy wasn't viable. BUT, I had some bleeding and no symptoms. You sound like your chances might be better...definitely wait for something conclusive.
Hang in there - I know how impossible this feels but know there are lots of people out there in the same position.
Thanks I appreciate it. I am just scared and nervous, but I keep hoping that everything is going to be ok. I pray and journal to the baby almost nightly. Tomorrow is the big day.
The lab was packed, I gave blood now it is the waiting game! I have been talking, praying, and journaling to the little bean. I am so praying for the best. I am still having some brown spotting and very minor cramping, more like twinges.
Well, Im sure things will be fine. I hate the waiting game! ECK! In the mean time relax and stay off your feet as much as possible, Get some rest, no stress! Let us know the results***
