Presure

Is anyone else feeling pressure in your bottom?  It almost feels like intestinal pains?  I can barely walk sometimes.  My doctor says it's normal stretching, if this is "normal" stretching we are in for a long month!!

YAY!!  I'm soo happy that babies born at that age can prosper without being held captive in NICU.  I am terrified of preterm labor.  What is it, if they weigh less than 5 pds they have to stay, or something like that?

My other babies did great!! Ashley was born at 36 wks and she was 6lbs 10oz., Emily at 37 wks was 6 lbs 1oz, and Blake was born at 37 weeks at 3 days weighed 6 lbs 2 oz.. They were all perfectly fine!!! All slept through the night at 5 weks except Blake who slept through the night at 3 Days old!!!! (no lie). I have had it pretty easy, until this pregnancy, I have been miserable, I so pray she'll come within the weeklike the dr said she thought, but who knows!!

pressure and peeing are perfectly normal at this stage. you are dilating, so the mucous is normal as well. this can go on for weeks. unless there is bright red blood or a sudden gush of fluid, all is well. sounds like you all are coming along just right. baby hardiman, once you reach 36 weeks, your baby should be safe for delivery. just an OB nurse checking in to see how you all are doing.

I completely agree with you about the peeing thing.  I think it depends on where the baby is putting pressure.  Sometimes the urge is so strong and then it just stops.  She also likes to punch my cervix, I think.  It will actually make me yell because it takes my breath away.  The last time they measured her, she was about 7lbs at 35 weeks.  Because this is my first baby, I have no pattern to go by as to when she will be born.  As long as she is good and developed, she can stay in as long as she needs.  I'm anxious to see her but, like you, I don't want her to have any issues.  Good luck to you.  You're almost there.  It seems like I was 34 weeks just yesterday and here I am 3 weeks later.  It's going faster and faster.  Take care!

Oh my goodness you do not have long at all!!  Do you know what you are having?  I am having a lil girl, we will name her Ava.

I thought my pain was coming from the baby being breech, but I'm told that no matter which way they lay you can feel alot of discomfort at this stage.  I am having alot of the mucousy discharge.. which alarmed me because I thought maybe I was losing my mucous plug, but come to find out that is normal too!!

Can I ask how the other babies did at being born 3 weeks before your due date.  My biggest fear is having her too early, and my hospital does not have a NICU.  I know I panic too much.. she is 34w3d now!!

I can identify with you all. I have been in pain and had pressure for over a month as well. I am 37 weeks tomorrow. This is my forth baby and I have never gone past 37 and a half weeks and the doctor has advised me that the baby is at least 7.5 to 8 lbs and my pelvis is small so unless they induce me I am looking at a section which I so don't want, having a 2 yr old at home. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry I amsorry toventI amjust miserable......

I am 34 weeks.  My due date is May 5th, but it's possible that I might have to have a c-section on April 22nd, which would put her right at 38 weeks.  The pain sometimes makes me cry.  =(  But, I am going to enjoy every minute of the last couple of weeks of this pregnancy!

Do you have to pee alot?  I have to pee like urgent and then all of a sudden it goes away, but comes back, so I go potty and I only have a little trickle... are you experiencing this?

Oooo, I hear you!  My pain is in my lower abdomen and it feels like it's getting so tight and pulling so hard I can't walk.  I think the baby is big and heavy.  My doctor has said it's just stretching and muscle tension as well.  I'm 37 weeks so I don't have much longer which is nice, but it only gets worse.  I can barely walk very far now.  Maybe the next one will be easier to carry, hopefully, since everything will already be stretched out. =)
