Daddy to be at the baby shower too?

Hi-  I was just wondering how you all felt about having the Daddy at the baby shower with you?  I would love that and to me, it seems like he should be there being as it's a baby shower and all about the baby.  How do you feel about it and have you seen that before or not?  I've never had a baby shower before so, it's all new to me anyway.

Im having a male/female baby shower too. We figured that the purpose of a shower is to celebrate having a baby so everyone important to us should be there. I'd def have daddy go!

My baby shower is scheduled for next weekend and everyone is coming, male and female. A lot of the family that is coming is from out of town, so we don't see them that often and it wouldn't be right just to invite the women. We are doing it more of a get together and having a barbecue so that nobody feels left out.

Hi, I had my baby shower last weeekend and my friend who was hosting it surprised me by inviting spouse/ partner.  It was a pleasant surprise for me.  I liked having DH with me especially when we were opening presents.  It's a journey we have both shared and I see no reason why he should be excluded and plus he was a huge help running around picking up the food from Caterers etc.

I personally don't see anything wrong with the dad being at the shower. My husband was at my shower, along with his friends. They were busy setting up things and helping ladies with gifts out of the cars. LOL They enjoyed the whole event as much as I did and I didn't get any negative feedback from anyone from having them there. I guess it is up to you!!! Good Luck!!
