I had a son about a year and 3 months ago naturally and it is completely normal and harmless to have airbubbles..in fact once in awhile i still get them! When you get stretched like that it takes awhile to get back to normal...and that doesnt mean normal before birth..that means normal as normal can be after pushing out a baby. All those loose folds of skin down there allow air to enter into the cavity and then they come back out. You will also notice this increasing when you start to become sexually active again. It was very embarressing afterwards with my husband and I became a walking musically instrument. He took it well though and only smiled. lol. So yes completely harmless just really annoying.
Mom2bee- it could very well be the depo shot i dont know...i personally dont like the depo shot because i know 2 people who became sterile from it and one girl got the shot to keep her from getting her period when she was shipped to iraq when she didnt redo the shot cuz she came back she bled for a year straight. However, I didnt get my period for awhile with my baby but when i did man it felt like forever! If you are 6 weeks postnatal than you should be getting a checkup with your obgyn coming up you can always ask her/him what they think. Or just give them a call.
Hi, I have stopped bleeding and the air bubbles are getting less. I saw my sister the other day and she said she had the same thing, she's had 3 children. She said it's normal and it does go eventually. Best wishes.
Omg! I had my son 6 wks ago and still expirencing this.. its so weird and akward feeling. I didn't know if something is wrong, if they left air in there or something. I had a bad expirence with my doctor during my induction so I haven't been back to get a check up. Before I left the hospital the gave me a depo shot, does anyone know the side effect for that? I'm still bleeding after 6 weeks and its not really slowing down.. is that normal?
