Cystic acne

Hi ladies, have any of you been developing cystic acne during your pregnancy? I battled with acne before pregnancy but in my 20s and 30s it cleared up pretty well. Now it's back with a debt to pay. My right side of my lower jaw sports the cysts while my left side has more docile pimples. However they all are leaving red marks behind. My concealer stick is not doing the trick. I use Bare Minerals when going out with a L'Oreal or Cover Girl concealer stick but it looks pretty bleak. I try not to let it bother me but when I glance in a window or mirror when out, I'm shocked at how awful my skin looks. I've been using a warm compress for a few minutes each day and use Simple products. Also in the past massaging my face after a shower seemed to help clear up red marks, but it's working very slowly now.

Any advice on great concealers and other tips would be appreciated. My GP recommended benzoyl peroxide but the pharmacist advised against it (thus I don't use it). If I can get a good concealer I'll be happy  :)

I just bought Estee Lauder's Double Wear concealer after reading positive reviews on it. The beautician at the station let me play with colors. It's good stuff, heavy duty, and covers everything well and consistently. I recommend it even though it's not cheap.
