At 24 weeks my baby weighed 1lb 8oz. They didn't do an ultrasound at this weeks appt. so maybe will find out the weight on Jan. 19.
My son was 7lbs 3 oz at birth and he was almost 3 weeks early...I'm sure she will be about the same..I'm sure if I had diabetes they would have called by now..I'm not going to worry...my little girl just doesn't want to be little! Lol her heartbeat is still good around 150 and she is moving a lot so I have no worries
Whoa...She's gonna be a big girl...I love big healthy babies:) I'm sure all is well with the diabetes test. My Dr always says no news is good news too so if you don't hear from them, then you're good:) My son was 8lbs 9oz at birth. My last appt at 23wks my little girl was already measuring 1.5lbs. I have another appt next Wednesday so we'll see if she got any bigger. I sure hope so:)
Well the ultrasound only showed one baby and I haven't heard anything about my diabetes test so I guess no news is good news..they said the baby was measuring big but not enough to sugguest diabetes..I guess the baby is supposed to be 1.5 to 2 lbs and my little girl is measuring 2.5 lbs at 27weeks
I would think after 3 ultrasounds they would know by now. But I have read stories where people didn't find out until the were born or until they were like 8 or 9 months. I had my test done last week and haven't heard nothing so I guess it was good. I go back to the doc on the 29th. Keep me posted.
I went to the doc yesterday and I'm 26 weeks but measuring 34 weeks..the doc ordered another ultrasound for Wednesday. I have to go today to do the diabetes test..doc told me that I could have diabetes or that there is just a lot of fluid in there..when I told my family about this all they could talk about is twins..they run in my family and we are due for another set! Lol..I have had 3 ultrasounds already they would be able to tell by now if there were twins right?
She did an ultrasound the same day and only one baby in there. It would be something if I go to deliver and have 2 which would be crazy cause yes that means it would have been three. I do a lot of weekly reading and I can say from my readings and the ultrasound tech also said so my baby is measuring a little big. My fiance keeps saying at first when I told him it was twins but may have lost one he didn't know how to feel because this is his 6th child and we have a set of twins already but now he always say he wish the other baby would have made it. I already have medical conditions so I am just concerned about having a good pregnancy.
My doctor also told me I was measuring bigger but didn't give me a number but she said they were gonna give me an us my next visit.
Fundal height it themeasurent from you pubic bone to the top of the uterus. Normally the fundal height in cm's will be the same # as the gestational age.
Mine is spot on, last pregnancy though it was six weeks ahead, ultrasound revealed excess amniotic fluid. I was monitored and given ultrasounds every 4 weeks. Baby was delivered 3 weeks early and apart from low blood sugars he was perfectly fine. A few feeds later his sugar was normal. I'd definatley ask for another us at this point. Have you had a gestational diabetes test yet? Sometimes gestational diabetes can cause larger than normal fundal heights as babies can be bigger and more amniotic fluid.
At my 24 appt my fundal height was measuring 32 as well, and I am having twins. Your doc may want to do another ultrasound or something, and who knows, maybe you do have a baby hiding!
Mine has been measuring about right, what a surprise that would be to find out you had twins, maybe you originally had 3!
Forgive my ignorance but......What's a fundal height?
