Ready to cry

Im 39+3 and still completely closed and only 30% thinned ): the dr was going to do a membrane sweep but he said it's completely closed so he couldn't get a finger in to do it ): he said next Friday we will talk about inducing but he said if I'm still closed inducing won't work either usually ): does anyone have any suggestions to get things moving? I am to the point I would drink castor oil (except it wouldn't work because I'm not dilated at all!) I will try any suggestions you guys have. I have already tried pineapple, sex, and lots of walking. I just bought an elliptical so I'm going to get on that and hope it will help move her down. This is so frustrating ):

I feel your pain...I am 40 weeks tomorrow and when I went to the dr today, I was still only 1cm dilated and my cervix is still way back there, so no progress. I've had absolutely no signs of labor at all. My doc is having me stick it out another 1.5 weeks since there's no real rush to induce. It's frustrating, I know. I agree with what people keep telling me though--These babies will come when they're ready for the most part :) Hang in there--it'll happen for all of us soon enough...

I know it hard I was 9 days overdue before I had my little girl and I tried everything..sex..walking..castor oil..bouncing on an exercise ball..nothing worked...I believe that they will just come when they are ready and nothing you do will really work..just be patient..I knows its very hard but your little on will be here soon

they can induce labour when your cervix is closed they just have to start with a gell to try and sofen it... sex is a good way to sofen your cervix it may take a few trys though hun but just be patient sex was what started me off with my first 5 days over due, im due with this baby on sunday and so far no signs of her coming my doctor is going to do my first internal on wednesday ill be 3 days over due shes just gonna do a sweep of the membranes i had one done with my daughter when my cervix was fully closed and it helped dialate it to 2cm had her 3 days after the sweep.. good luck :) and think positive not long left now and youll be holding your baby
