Tightening in stomach

Hi ladies, in the last two weeks or so I've noticed that off and on all day my stomach will tighten up until it gets pretty hard and then will soften up again. It only lasts about a minute at a time. I'm not sure how else to describe it. It doesn't hurt or anything, but my stomach will feel so heavy when it's happening. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone or like something bad?

Definitely braxton Hicks! I get those too, they freaked me out first so of course being the crazy over protective mom I am I rushed to my doctor.. their perfectly normal so nothing to worry about! Good luck on the rest of your pregnant though! I don't know about y'all but I sure am ready for April!

Thanks ladies. I'm 23 weeks now so I'm hoping it's just Braxton Hicks. Between this and the baby moving around, it's like there's always some action going on!

I haven't experienced but I know right around 22 wks you can start having Braxton hicks contractions and that's what it sounds like to me! As long as they aren't painful I wouldn't worry
