Gestational Diabetes

I am currently 18 weeks and I had my blood work done and my doctor told me my blood sugar level was at 169 and that it was really high. I went back in yesterday and did some more blood work to check if its still the same and I won't hear my results until this coming Thursday. I'm really scared & nervous that I can have gestational diabetes. This is my first pregnancy and I'm only 21 years old. Has anyone had gestational diabetes during pregnancy?

I had it with my first pregnancy and probably this one. Nothing to be scared about. You still have to do the 3 hour test and could be fine. My hour test was 138 normal sugar levels should be around 130.

I have it since week 13. It is not so bad. You just have to watch your diet. I am also measuring sugar level four times a day, just to control it. Also I found out, that if I eat after 7pm, my sugar in the morning is higher than usual.
