May Baby

So today was my last appointment until whenever my sweet son decides to come, and my midwife checked my cervix ONLY because I requested it. Well that was a fail - not only have I NEVER felt someone or something go that deep (it was very uncomfortable), but he said that my cervix was so high that  he could not determine anything except for the baby's head being really low. At the end of the appointment, he told me to forget about my due date and let life run its course because my son seems happy where he is. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have a start date of June 1st at my new job across the country. Uuuuugh come on April 27th; I really need for this day to be it.

I agree, I passed my due date and they scheduled to inside me exactly week later
My doctor couldn't check my cervix stating baby's head is really low and she doesn't want to hurt me.  When she tried it was very uncomfortable

Wow I'm surprised he said forget the due date without mentioning a deadline before inducing. I know you still have a few days before you hit 40 weeks but isn't it dangerous to let the baby stay past 42 weeks? What if baby isn't showing signs of coming near 42 weeks? I would ask him about what his plan is for this future case scenario

I had the same thing today at my appointment  he did do membrane sweep so hopefully somthing g soon due on friday

I am due that day as well and no major signs :/ hopefully this weekend will be it for us, ladies!!!

Fingers crossed for you.  April 27th is my sons Birthday he's hoping his brother will be born that day also
