It has been the longest two days ever! I start contacting every 5 min it will last two plus hours then just up and stops. Comes back just to go away again. My midwife says it's irritable uterus. Well it's making me irritable. Just when I think I'm getting somewhere it stops. However on the upside I have lost lots and lots of mucous plug today. When I was checked I was a 3 80% and at a -2. I Was 1 50% do thats sn improvement.  Sorry for the rant just uncomfortable.  Hopefully soon!

I can definitely say this is a much longer process then with my first. I'm 39 +4 So hopefully it's the light at the end of the tunnel.  If it happens it will probably be today my mom and birthing helper just went to the er with a hurt knee. My poor husband who really struggles with L&d would be on his own lol.

My early labour started last week. I don't feel my contractions as much as I've just got used to them. I've tried everything from walking to sex and yet I'm now 1 day over. Had to sweeps on the second one midwife could feel membranes and top of baby's...Its just a long slow process.

I'm right there with you!  39+3 and I get back cramps and contractions for 2-3 hours in the evening and go to bed since they dont get worse or closer together and nothing happens overnight.  I walk to try to keep it going but it doesn't help.  I was a 2 and 30% effaced on Thursday. I just want a baby to hold.
