HCG Level

by Jenn58, Dec 22, 2008 04:07PM
I just got the results from my 2nd hcg blood test. The first test I took came back at 612 and the 2nd 7 days later came back at 10,555. Does that seem high? We did an ultrasound last Thursday and can only see one sac but we cant see the heartbeat just yet. Dr. says its still to soon. Has any one else had numbers jump up this fast?

since hcg doubles every 24-48 hours, you are within normal. Technically, they could be even higher if yours happen to double every 24 hours. Looks like your are double maybe every 36 hours or so...
ex:
day 1- 612
day 2- 1200
day 3- 2400
day 4- 4800
day 5- 9600
day 6- 19200
etc....
