I went for my 20 week ultrasound last friday and everything looked great.  My dr told me also that my uterus/placenta is thicker in the front of my belly so that is why I am not feeling the baby so much.  I do feel him/her during the day every once in a while....it feels like my stomach is rumbling except it is lower.  funny.  I am hoping to feel more movement soon so my hubby can feel it with his hand! :)

I've felt mine so much lately that when he stops for any period of time, i worry too. I think its normal. not to worry, before long it will be keeping you up at night. lol

it can be due to the location of your placenta. With both pregnancies, my placenta was in front and cushioning most kicks. I only feel them in one place on the lower left side of my abdomen. Today my OB showed me why- that's the only place in front where the placenta isn't cushioning it. He also showed me on the ultrasound that my baby tends to hang out on the other side (the side where I can't feel anything). So, some days I feel lots of movements, other days nothing.

Yup. I agree with the others. It's pretty common to feel the baby a lot, then nothing at all. Many women haven't felt anything at this point - others notice it more. I'm 20 weeks and just feeling some movement over the past couple of weeks. Getting more noticeable every day, but some days nothing. So try not to worry. Soon enough you'll be WISHING that little bug would slow down! LOL.

I also feel him more on some days than on others but like they say b/c he is too small. If I sit still for and pay very close attention I feel more.

Your baby's movements will get stronger and more fruquent sometime around 26 weeks. Right now he/she is moving all the time and you wont feel the majority of the kicks being they are so small:)

I was so worried about not feeling the baby kick and I am in my 20th week.  We just had an u/s on Friday and the baby was kicking and moving like crazy and I couldn't feel it even though I could see it on the screen.  The next day, I could feel him alot, and now it is hardely noticable.  I think it is so normal this early on to not feel him all the time.  I notice for me, it also depends on what I eat, if I eat chocolate I tend to maybe feel him.  You still have time, and I just assume as he/she gets bigger you will be feeling more movement.

Hi, I'm 18 weeks, 2 days pregnant with twins!! For the past 2 weeks, I've been feeling movements, not obvious movements but rumbling like sensations. It's not all the time, I tend to notice it occasionally and I've put it down to my babies being too small to feel properly yet, obviously, as the pregnancy progresses, the stronger the movements will feel. I wouldn't worry about it, it is still early days.
