So I know tons of people in my area that are losing tons of weight(I'm talkin TONS) on this "HcG Diet"... What are your thoughts on this? Do you think its dangerous? If you do know anything about it, or about someone who has done it, please share. Thx!

HCG as in the pregnancy hormone?? I have never heard of this, but I do know that while your pregnant your metabilizom (sp) is higher than any other time in your life.

Haha, I just read it and I have to say it sounds crazy. I mean injecting someone with a pregnancy hormone to help you lose weight? Can you imagine the side effects?? A bunch of hormonal people, both men and woman, lol!

I don't know...I am pretty desperate to lose weight, but I am still breastfeeding and want another baby in the future, so I personally would stay clear of it...for now...LOL!  Maybe in a couple years there will be studies done on what it did to the people who tried it now...let them be the ginnie pigs??? :)

actually this diet has been around since the 70's, I just dont know anyone personally who did it back then. the people i know that are doing it, are doing it now - and let me tell you - THEY ARE STICKS! lol   it does sound crazy though, doesn't it...

I'm desperate, too.  But since it involves needles, count me out! LoL

actually, they have drops too. A few people I know took the drops because they hate needles. However, I heard the injections work faster and better...

I guess you just put a few drops under your tongue in the morning when you eat and a couple at night before bed... sounds much better than shots doesnt it!
