i thought i was miscarrying at 9 weeks four days after a hot shoot of liquid which was mostly blood. i was in pain too. they scanned me the next day and bab was really active, heartbeat fine but bleeds were discovered inside and under the amniotic sac. a second ultrasound revealed the bleeds had got bigger but a dr did tell me the baby was more likely to survive than not as i'd reached 13 weeks.

By the way...if it weren't for the u/s I would have never known that I had these issues.   (on this pregnancy).   I am otherwise completey without symptoms like bleeding or spotting.

When i went in for an early ultrasound to confirm viable pregnancy, I was told that the gestation sac was too small.  I was at risk for a m/c - something like 80% according to studie done and published in medicla journals.  My RE wouldn't give me a number or more informaion on my situation.   Heartbeat and fetus measured appropriately.

In any event I kept having to go in for ultrasound week after week and they would check the progress of the sac.   So I did end up having good luck and the GS caught up.

At the first ultrasound I was also told that I have some sort of bleed in my uterus and they are watching that and hopefully it will resolve it self.

IN the past I've had 5 miscarriages.   I know they are heartbreaking.

What's going on with you???
