baby growth one week smaller than actual

hi everyone,
well i am 17+3 weeks pregnant ,today i had a anominal scan and my dr. said that my baby is 16 weeks old and his brain and large brains are 16 week ,well i am very worried after the scan as my dr. appointment is on 30th of the march so i am so worried about my baby's growth well on week 12 my baby was also 12 weeks old well can anybody suggests me the reason and does it affects my baby and how come i overcome this problem well my eating habit is not so good  and also i had diaareahe for last 10 days.
plzzz help as i have concieved my baby after a long time through treatment.

One week off is not that much. Babies grow at diffrent rates, and also go through growth spurts. Is your EDD based on your LMP or U/S?? I wouldnt worry too much about it. Babies are all born diffrent sizes, yes there is an average but lots of them are bigger or smaller. If the tech had seen something major wrong, your doctor more than likely would have contacted you for a follow up. Did you by chance find out your baby's gender??

You can always call your clinic and leave a message for your doctor to call you back. He/she might be able to ease your mind better than I can:)
