No, usually we don ovulate few days before period because that would mean a short luteal phase (Ovulation to period and short LP) and you need at least min 12 days LP to sustain the pregnancy. Very rarely do you ovulate either so quickly after your period and when you do hear cases of people claiming to have gotten pg when they baby dance during their pg, its most probably due to the sperm staying in the body long enough to fertilise the egg AND if the woman ovulates early.
oh wow, thanx heaps 4 that maxine, uve answered heaps of questions 4 me in a way i can understand it lol. so women usually arent ovulating a few days b4 or afta their period rite?
Its very unlikely you can get a postive HPT 2 weeks after yr period unless you ovulate super early like CD5 which is hardly possible. The fertilised itself needs 7-10 days to travel down your tubes and implanmt in your womb then it produces HCG which then gives you a postive HPT. Thats why most women get a positive HPT 7days to 10 days past ovulation using very sensitive HPT likes Aimstick.
wat if u take a test 2 wks after ur period and it cums bak as positive??? Is this counted from wen u conceive
Most home pregnancy tests are accurate 3-5 days after the first day of a missed period.
