64 ounces of Water or close to it helps, lower your salt intake, and keeping feet elevated when possible is pretty much all u can do.  My feet swell like professor klump but I can say that if I saturate myself with water that day, by the next day I can tell that it helped the swelling.  Right now the swelling does not go away completely but it gets so much better.  Since it's summer and gonna be hot it's only gonna get worse.  Just remember hydration and less salt with elevating your feet are the key.  My doc also told me that when I get home from work if I can lay on my left side and elevate my feet that would help too.

I'm on my feet most of the time I'm at work but I do put my feet up on a stool whenever I sit down. It does make them feel better. I don't swell a lot though, it's mostly just achey.

Nothing helps for me. At the end of the day I'll always have swollen feet. I drink close to, sometimes over a gallon of water each day. I sit in comfortable chairs yet my feet get swollen every day. I have given up and started to enjoy my cankles lol

Thank You!  I think it's mostly related to the heat and sitting at my desk during the work day.  I will put my feet on a stool, but I don't think I can get them above my heart while at work.  I will have to do this at home..

Step 1:
Drink at least 64 ounces of water daily. This will help to flush toxins out of your system, thereby helping to reduce swelling in your extremities.

Step 2:
Get off your feet. Swollen ankles are exacerbated by standing. Sit down in a comfortable chair.

Step 3:
Elevate your feet and hands. While sitting, place your feet on a stool. Your feet should be raised higher than your heart. Rest your hands on pillows so they are elevated higher than the rest of your arms.

Step 4:
Wear support socks and gloves. These specialty products are sometimes called compression socks, hose or gloves. They help to encourage circulation in the hands and feet, thereby helping to eliminate swelling.

Step 5:
Massage your hands and feet. Enlist the help of a friend to help you with this. Massage will increase circulation in both the hands and feet. It will also encourage excess fluids to circulate away from the areas.

Step 6:
Apply ice to the hands and feet. Ice will help to reduce swelling in both. Put the ice on the areas for 10 minutes, then remove it for 10 minutes. Repeat the process three times.

Step 7:
Eat a well-balanced, nutritional diet. Consume lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. If you're healthy, your body systems will function properly, resulting in less swelling.

Step 8:
Avoid excess salt, alcohol and caffeine as all exacerbate swelling.

Step 9:
Incorporate daily exercise into your life. Regular, consistent exercise has been shown to reduce swelling in hands and feet.

Here's 9 steps to help with your swollen feet, hope these help =0)

Swollen feet are quite common - especially in the heat.  Be sure to stay hydrated and reduce your salt intake.  When you're resting, put your feet up.  And don't over do it - too much walking around or too much heat can make things worse. And make sure you get some good foot massages!
