blurry vision

I've noticed that my vision isn't as great as it use to be just within the past month. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and a friend told me that pregnancy can cause this. My vision is blurry when trying to read from a distance and i've never had this problem before.

No...no problems with headaches and I haven't check my bp since my last doctor's visit but it's fine too and no swelling. I go to the doctor next Wednesday so I figured I would mentioned the blurry vision then. We find out what the baby is next week!

How is your blood pressure? Do you have headaches and swelling too? Blurred vision can be a sign of high blood pressure and that can cause some pretty complicated things for a pregnant person. If you have any other symptoms tell you doctor ASAP

With my son, I was told my eyes were going to get worse so don't get them checked (no new contacts or glasses) and that they would return to the way there were after he was born.  When I stopped nursing I got them checked and they were at least 1 full perscription worse than before I got pregnant.  Now I am pregnant again and I hope that I can still see something when this is all over -- ha ha.

Pregnancy can cause all kinds of crazy things...including vision problems...even for those who have normally good vision.  It should go back to what it normally is pretty soon after delivery
